FEATURES:
Dhol is a non-selective and systemic herbicide.
It is a post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual perennial, broadleaf, and grassy weeds.
It contains Ammonium salt of Glyphosate 71% SG.
It is easily biodegradable & non-volatile in nature.
It belongs to the Organophosphorus group of chemicals.
It is a systemic herbicide, that kills the weeds by inhibiting the EPPS synthesis in weed plants.
Being a non-selective herbicide, it effectively kills all types of weeds.
It is widely used in non-crop areas, open fields, bunds, and water channels.
It is also used in tea crops to control various weeds.
It is rapidly absorbed by leaves and translocated to the root system/rhizomes of weed plants.
It kills the plant from the root within one to two weeks of its application.
It is also effective against weeds which are difficult to control.
It is also effective to kill aquatic weeds efficiently.
It does not have any residual effect on the germination of any crop grown after its application.
MODE OF ACTION:
DHOL is a non-selective, systemic herbicide of the Organophosphorus group. It works by inhibiting an essential plant enzyme called EPSPS (5-enolpyruvyl – shikimate -3 – phosphate synthase). Inhibition of this enzyme prevents the production of aromatic amino acids required for protein synthesis within the plant. Lack of protein synthesis results the death of treated plants.
METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION:
Apply in tea and non-crop areas to control annual perennial, broadleaf, and grassy weeds
Application is recommended when weeds reach at least 4-8 leaves stage.
Take a small amount of water add the required quantity of Dhol and stir the solution well with a stick or rod. Add this solution with the remaining quantity of water and spray. The volume of the total water to be used will depend on the total area to be treated.
